Today’s brilliant idea comes directly from Vynni of the Farthest Star, who invented banana s’mores as far as I know. I love s’mores, but I’m allergic to sugar, what do I do? In the past, probably eat the s’mores anyways and suffer all next day because of it, but now I know a better way!

You can roast bananas instead of marshmallows. Yes, bananas, and it works great.

What about the other ingredients? If you can’t find sugar free chocolate bars (Trader Joe’s does sell stevia sweetened ones, tho they have some questionable ingredients), you can easily make your own with coconut oil, stevia, and cocoa powder. There’s a recipe here on chocolate covered Katie.

We also made our own sugar free graham crackers based on this recipe (well, they were more like shortbread biscuits, but still utterly delicious).

When my BFFs and I go camping again this fall, we’re going to make these again!
