True Life: I Want to Be an Obscure Pageant Queen featuring Adrienne Orpheus
Over the summer, I was chosen to be on MTV’s documentary show True Life, in an episode called “I Want to be an Obscure Pageant Queen”. The production crew came with me to Dragon Con 2013, where I competed as my Andorian character in Trek Track’s Miss Star Trek Universe pageant. In the competition, I sang the unreleased title song from my upcoming (and recently funded on kickstarter!) EP “Ice Queen”.

Watch the episode to find out the juicy details of what happened, AND get to hear a preview of Ice Queen!

Use the hashtags #TeamAdrienne and #TeamPauline !!

It debuts on Saturday, March 15th at 11 am eastern on MTV, and will (probably) be on the True Life website!

sweet handmade pink bow

I’ve been a busy bee lately! I’m pretty serious about hair accessories. When you have waist length hair, as I do, you sort of have to be. I like to coordinate them with my outfits, and sometimes, the only way to do this is to make them myself. When I wear my hair bows (which is every day, practically), people always ask me where I got them, and when I say I made them, they’re all like “You made that?” Yes I made ALL of them! You can too, if you want, using this printable PDF sewing pattern that I designed.

If you don’t want to make your own bow, sometimes I sell the ones I’ve made in the store, but most of the time I just enjoy making them for myself. ;)

And if for some reason you think bows are not important, I insist you check out this infographic by Twist Me Pretty.

June 22, 2013

A few weeks ago, Creation Entertainment had an official Star Trek convention here in Boston. After having so much fun at the one in New Jersey, I couldn’t wait to go to another one. Although the con didn’t officially start until Saturday, registration and the vendor’s room opened Friday. There was also a pre-con meetup […]

A weekend of Star Trek and vegan food: two of my favorite things

May 9, 2013

If you follow me on uh any social network at all, you may know I’m a huge Trekkie. Despite the fact that I’ve gone to probably hundreds of other (sci fi/fantasy/anime) conventions, I had never gone to a Star Trek con before. Of course this had to be remedied, so when my BFFs Kate and […]

MAJOR things are happening in my world which is why posts have been sporadic. But one thing I’ve been slaving over which I am ready to unveil is the new store here on adorpheus.com! The store is divided into two sections – a place to buy t-shirts via RedBubble (including the Beemo shirt that I […]

Some other beginning’s end

July 1, 2011

Those of you who have been following my blog for a while might remember my clothing line, Gency’s Exit. You may also remember that the website (and Etsy store) have been devoid of products for like six months. That’s because I’m in the process of re-vamping and re-launching a completely new line of clothing. The […]
